Short chains with crosses or skulls are great for the boys/girls. Only for girls, small choker style beads are always cute.

Small funky colored wrist bands with a small, random insignia on them are great.

If you're a girl, wearing different types of earrings is funky.

Arm warmers are cute for both boys and girls.

Boys should get longish side swept black emo hair or even just have dark brown hair.
* Blond with black streaks is coming back too.
* Spiking, especially the back of hair, is cool.

Girls can get that cut or simply dye their hair black and blond.

Being emo gives you a lot of options with your hair. There is no right or wrong style. Wear your hair how you want. No one said you must have blond or black hair. Your hair is something that is harder to change than your style so get something you can live with.
* Extensions are also very in. Blend them well, with lots of layers. You can add bright colored extensions as well.
* Teasing is great to add volume.
* Also try layering your hair. (girls)

Shoes

You should wear Vans, Draven, and Converse. All of these look good with skinny jeans.

Tips

* Be creative with your style. The more unique you are, the less people can stereo-type you. Uniqueness is the complete opposite from posing.
* Don't try so hard or somebody might label you a preppy or goth, or worse poser. Just be yourself.
* Draw on things! Buy fabric pens & write messages or draw on plain tee's or even a pair of your old converse! Draw anything-hearts, skulls and crossbones, stars. You could even write all of your favorite bands & songs on It, or get all your friends to sign It! Make it as unorganised and insane as you want!
